Just checked in with Mary from Every Day is A Miracle. She contacted Vivan (see not below) but Vivian didn't have any information. I called Mr. Weinstein back but left a lengthy message with his secretary. Waiting to hear back from him to see if he has any info on how to access this lot.

Got a call from Maria who works at Every Day Is A Miracle, a nonprofit nearby this lot that runs a health program and a food pantry. They would love to build on this lot - create space in a bottom floor for their org to host afterschool programs that focus on nutrition education, and the rest of the building to host affordable housing.

I looked through HPD's contact list online and gave her the info for Assistant Commissioner, Property Management & Client Services - Vivian Louie
(212) 863-7087

She'll let me know if this was someone helpful or not!

I spoke with Mr. Weinstein and he said that the lot was going to be developed for senior housing a few years ago, but those plans fell through. They are hoping to sell the lot this year, and are not interested in giving a Green Thumb license.
