In the Draft Edgemere Neighborhood Plan, this is NOT a housing site, although it is currently under the jurisdiction of Housing Preservation and Development. It can be transfered to NYC Parks or another agency for a garden, park or other use if neighbors ask for it to be.

The plan includes "at least two new community gardens" but does not indicate where they will be.

Hear about HPD's Draft Plan on Saturday, September 24, 11am to 2pm at the 41St Cornerstone Community Center (426 Beach 40th Street). This will be the last community workshop. The draft plan will be presented then.
